Resume

Dr. Xiaodong Yue is presently a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Computer Science & Technology at Tongji University, Shanghai. Before this postdoctoral period, he received the Ph.D. degree from Tongji Univ. in 2010, and the B.Eng. from Shanxi Univ. in 2003. From Oct. 2008 to Apr. 2009, he was a research assistant in the Department of Computer Science at Hong Kong Baptist Univ. supervised by Prof. Jiming Liu. Since 2011, he has been a research fellow in the Advanced Analytic Institute (AAI) at Univ. of Technology, Sydney (UTS), supervised by Prof. Longbing Cao.

Doctoral supervisor is Prof. Duoqian Miao, and master supervisor is Prof. Deyu Li..

Research Interest

Pattern recognition, Machine learning, Soft computing, Data mining and Multimedia. Recent research interests involve behavior pattern discovery in multimedia data.
