Academician Fuji Ren Invited for Academic Exchange

        On July 8, 2025, invited by Professor Duoqian Miao, Professor Fuji Ren, an internationally renowned scholar and fellow of several prestigious institutions including the Engineering Academy of Japan, the European Academy of Sciences, the Russian Academy of Engineering, and the U.S. National Academy of AI Sciences, visited the lab and delivered an insightful academic talk. His lecture focused on the transformative impact of artificial intelligence on society, highlighting a future characterized by the harmonious coexistence and collaboration of natural humans, robots, and digital humans. Emphasizing that intangible intelligence, such as deep reasoning and emotional interaction, will become increasingly valuable, Professor Ren also presented cutting-edge research advancements by his team in multimodal large models, intelligent interaction, and affective computing. Following the talk, Professor Ren engaged in extensive and stimulating discussions with faculty members and students, providing new insights and inspiration regarding both theoretical and practical dimensions of AI innovation.

20250708日,应苗夺谦教授邀请,日本工程院院士、欧盟科学院院士、日本工学会院士、俄罗斯工程院院士、美国国家人工智能科学院院士任福继教授访问实验室作学术报告,并与实验室师生进行深入的学术交流。

任福继教授的学术报告授围绕人工智能驱动社会创新展开。我们正处于一个由人工智能驱动万物运动、跨越从物质到精神领域的新时代,人工智能不仅改变生产和生活方式,更深刻影响价值体系与社会结构。未来的社会形态将呈现自然人·机器人·数字人三人共舞的格局,这一新时代的重要特征,是看不见的东西比看得见的东西更具价值,智能软件、深度知识推理与情感交互能力成为支撑三者共舞的核心。

在报告中,任福继教授穿插介绍了多项其团队在人工智能领域的研究进展,涵盖多模态大模型、智能交互及情感计算等方向,探索人工智能在垂直行业应用中的创新路径,相关研究内容不仅具有非常强的前瞻性,还同时具备叹为观止的研究深度,为实验室的师生带来新的启发与思考。

报告结束后,任福继教授与实验室师生展开了亲切深入的交流讨论,从宏观的人工智能与社会到微观的技术细节无不涉猎,为实验室师生带来了全新的启发与思考。

最后,苗夺谦教授进行了总结,指出任院士提出的“三人共舞”构想深刻揭示了智能时代的社会变革。未来的价值创造将依赖于智能软件、情感计算和知识推理等“看不见的智能”,这一变革不仅是技术的飞跃,也对思维方式与社会结构提出了新挑战。报告为实验室科研提供了重要启示,凸显了宏观视野与跨学科融合的必要性。
