Researcher Ruiping Wang Invited to Deliver an Academic Lecture
On April 13, 2025, Researcher Ruiping Wang from the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), was invited by Professor Duoqian Miao to visit the lab and deliver an academic lecture titled "Intelligent Evaluation of Multimodal Models." The talk focused on the challenges in evaluating vision-language multimodal tasks and introduced the team's innovative work, including learnable evaluation metrics and benchmark datasets. Following the presentation, Wang engaged in in-depth discussions with faculty and students on the future prospects of the field. The event was attended by over ten researchers, including faculty members, postdocs, and graduate students.
2025年4月13日，应苗夺谦教授邀请，中科院计算所研究员、博导王瑞平老师访问实验室作学术报告，并与实验室师生进行学术交流。
王瑞平老师的报告围绕对多模态模型的智能评测展开。近年来，多模态技术的发展使得面向视觉场景深度理解的视觉-语言多模态任务探索成为热点，因其涉及语言信息的理解、生成与推理等具有一定主观性的处理流程，相关任务的基准评测成为一个重要的问题。其后，王瑞平老师介绍了多项团队相关工作，包括面向图像描述生成的可学习评测指标HiFi-Score、面向视觉-常识组合推理的问答数据库CRIC、面向具身场景理解的动态环境问答数据库Env-QA、以及面向多模态大模型推理的多学科多语种评测数据库M4U等。
随后，王瑞平老师与实验室师生进行了亲切友好的交流讨论，探讨了相关领域的前景发展以及对不同领域的带来的启发思考。
