美国俄克拉荷马大学Mohammed Atiquzzaman教授来我院作学术报告
2019年5月20日下午，应苗夺谦教授、卫志华教授的邀请，美国俄克拉荷马大学MohammeedAtiquzzaman教授在图书馆14楼会议室作了题为“Introductionof Journal of Network and Computer Applications (JNCA) and VehicularCommunications (VEHCOM)”的学术报告。
作为Elsevier旗下的两个SCI期刊主编，Atiquzzaman教授首先介绍了JNCA和VEHCOM两个期刊的大致情况。其中JNCA期刊在Computer Science, HardWare&Architecture、Computer Science InterdisciplinaryApplication以及Computer Science, Software Engineering三个研究领域内都是Q1期刊，VEHCOM期刊在Telecommunications,领域为Q1期刊，在Transportation Science& Technology领域为Q2期刊。同时介绍了期刊的侧重点、审稿周期、接受率等参考指标，并和同类别的期刊作了横向的比较。在分析拒稿因素时，Atiquzzaman教授总结了文章可能在可读性、严谨性方面存在的问题，引起了与会师生的共鸣。报告结束后，师生就期刊选取、文章润色、学术规范等方面与专家开展了热烈的讨论。
MohammeedAtiquzzaman教授担任国际著名期刊《Journal of Network and Computer Applications》和《Vehicular Communications》的主编，国际著名期刊《IEEE Communications Magazine》、《Journal of Wireless and Optical Communications》、《International Journal of Sensor Networks》、《International Journal ofCommunication Networks and Distributed Systems》、《Journalof Real-Time Image Processing》 等期刊的副主编。(张远健)
